A couple’s brick stone house in Modica which combines modern comfort standards with the essence of the place still preserved in the materials and shapes resulting from the refurbishing works. The bathroom on ground floor, which was originally a well, reminds of the atmosphere of North African hammams. Walls have been left unfinished; the cistern has been turned into the shower area with a chrome slide bar of the Café collection. Next to the stone washbasin a Milano floor-mount mixer has been installed. The stone ceiling has been finished with the traditional plaster in “cocciopesto”.
