Once upon a time (at the beginning of last century) there was a young butcher on Lake Orta who fell in love with a young lady heir to a family of hotel owners and eventually married her. Peppino and Guglielma, these are their names, opened their own small hotel which still exist today.
“La Séca” hotel in Alzo di Pella preserves the same atmosphere of the early XX century with some parts reminding of more recent times. An example? Some people who stayed at the hotel told us to have seen an original 80’s yellow I Balocchi mixer in one of their bathrooms.
